Finding an Available Information Session

The Community College of Rhode Island holds Admissions Information Sessions for New and current (non-degree) students to introduce you to what CCRI has to offer. We offer three basic types of information sessions; General, Transfer, and Nursing information sessions.

General Information Sessions are for all students. This all-purpose, general session covers admissions, financial aid, and general academic information designed to introduce the prospective student (or the current non-degree student) to CCRI and what we have to offer. Students will leave this session with an idea of their next steps in order to enter CCRI as a degree-seeking student.
Transfer Information Sessions are designed for students transferring to CCRI from another institution of higher education. The sessions offer insight into the process of granting transfer credit at CCRI for courses taken at a previous institution.
Nursing Information Sessions are designed for existing CCRI students and prospective students alike to introduce them to the process and policies governing admission into the competitive allied health and rehabilitative sciences programs offered at CCRI.

Use the SEARCH by subject, day, time and site link, select a term, and select Admissions Information Session using the Subject: listing.

Registering for an Admissions Information Session

Existing Students:
CCRI Offers a variety of Admissions Information Sessions as detailed above. Students can register for an Information Session online through MyCCRI, using the same process that you would use to register for credit courses. Prospective Students:
If you are thinking about coming to CCRI and would like to register for an Admissions Information Session, please contact the Office of Enrollment Services at 825-2003 to activate your registration account.

One-hour sessions are available at each campus to provide helpful information about Admissions and Financial Aid procedures. In addition, information about academic programs will be presented.
