Student Loan Information

Need help applying for a loan? Federal Stafford loans are considered part of financial aid so your first step is to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and list CCRI as your College (004916 school code). Once you have completed the FAFSA, you may also be required to submit additional paperwork to the College and should check your MyCCRI account frequently. Once you have completed this process, you may apply for a Stafford loan to assist you with your tuition payments. Please note that you must be academically eligible in order to receive a loan. You also must be registered and maintain 6 credits per semester and be accepted into an eligible degree or certificate program no later than the add period for the semester you are applying. Please note that the Bursar does not disburse loans until late October for the fall semester and late March for the spring semester, so please plan accordingly.

Please note: Loans are available for the Fall and Spring terms only. CCRI does not process loans for the Summer term.
