Welcome to CCRI!
Congratulations on completing your Freshman Registration program! Now that you have signed up for classes in the Spring Semester, it is time to think about Orientation. New Student Orientation is a required program to help prepare you for your first semester in college. Whether you are coming straight from high school or coming to college after years in the workforce, college is a challenging and exciting academic experience. But to make the most of this experience, you need to prepare for it.
The orientation program will have sessions that get into the important details of financial aid and billing, planning to transfer, faculty expectations, campus safety, student life, and student support services as well as give you an opportunity to meet fellow classmates and become more comfortable with your new surroundings. There is so much involved with making your enrollment in the Community College personally rewarding and academically successful, that we need some time to sort through the very complex components. The better prepared you are, the more likely you will achieve your goals.
