The Newport County Campus is now open! The beautiful new facility at One John H. Chafee Boulevard opened its doors for classes on September 6, 2005.

On September 29, 2005, CCRI held a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the new campus. To view streaming video of the ceremony, click:
