Our mission is to provide open access, affordable, and lifelong educational opportunities to all members of the community in order for them to become successful students, citizens and employees.

CCRI is committed to providing comprehensive academic, technical, professional and personal enrichment courses as part of the demanding programs that lead to associate degrees and professional certification.

The Community College of Rhode Island is a public, open access institution, providing quality, affordable educational opportunities and services to diverse communities and citizens.

Vision Statement

The vision statement was revised to read:

Working together, everyone achieves:  this is CCRI's foundation for success. We strive to be a symbol of hope and opportunity, the bridge to a life-long journey that students begin from their own unique place.
