Dedications at the Liston Campus

The CCRI Cultural Awareness Committee welcomed everyone to two brief dedication ceremonies on Monday, Oct. 19, in the Atrium at the Liston Campus in Providence. President Ray Di Pasquale unveiled an original oil painting of Angkor Wat, a 12th century temple complex in Cambodia. The painting is a gift from CCRI student Tho Mith Chin and will be displayed in the Atrium. Also a flag of Burundi, a country in central Africa was unveiled. The flag will hang in the Atrium in memory of the late CCRI student Augustin Kabura, a native of the country who died while swimming last month.
