Course offers professional development in accessibility, disability and culture

A-TASC logoDisability Services for Students is offering a professional development opportunity for CCRI faculty and staff – a semester-long hybrid course addressing accessibility, disability and culture.

The course will provide weekly online content and four in-person sessions from noon to 4 p.m. on Fridays at the Knight Campus during the spring semester.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certification placed in their personnel file and materials that formally certify them as A-TASC Force graduates. Recipients may submit the course for ongoing professional development credits from accrediting institutions.

Regular enrollment closes Jan. 30 and late enrollment ends on Feb. 6. To sign up, contact Barbie Sanborn by email or 401-455-6013.
