Knight Campus to host two student exhibitions

The Community College of Rhode Island’s Knight Campus Art Gallery is closing out the semester with two exhibitions of students’ work.
The first is a Fine Arts Exhibition, “But You Didn't,” from April 26 to May 1. This exhibition features works by students in the Spring 2012 Fine Art Seminar class: Russell Absi, Lisa Arena, Cory Bergeron, Amanda Carter, Jacob Cournoyer, Molly Haney, Lilibeth Leon, Elizabeth Overstreet, Davie Poeuk, Lydia Reynolds, Kyle Sellon, William Sprague, Christopher St. Pierre and Geoffrey Waterman. A closing reception will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1.
The salon-style Student Exhibition from May 8 to 11 will feature works created by students in all art classes at this campus. A closing reception will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 10.
The gallery is located in Room 3500, on the third floor of the round building at the Warwick campus, 400 East Ave. To access the gallery, take the elevator to the third floor and walk across the outdoor ramp. Gallery hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday. For more information, e-mail gallery director Viera Levitt or visit the gallery website.
