Become a Hospice Volunteer
Beacon Hospice is offering a comprehensive 21-hour training of seven weeks to help prepare interested individuals to become Hospice volunteers. Throughout the training, volunteers will be introduced to various staff such as nursing staff, social workers, and bereavement coordinators who provide a team approach. Volunteers are supervised by a volunteer coordinator and supported by other members of the patient care team. Upon completion of the training you will receive ID badges, medical bag, Beacon Hospice jacket and most of all, the opportunity to serve others.
