How do I access databases from off-campus? |
|
Many of the library's online databases (e.g.,
Academic Search Premier, Gale's Literature Resource Center, PsycINFO) are restricted to the students, faculty, and
staff of HELIN institutions.
In the past, you needed to set your browser for proxy services in order to
access the databases from off-campus. You no longer need to do this, so
accessing a subscription database from home is much easier.
When you are off-campus and click on a link to one of these resources, you will be prompted for your name and the barcode from your CCRI Library Card. If your card has been activated and is current, you should be able to gain access to the database. Please contact a CCRI Reference Librarian if you need assistance using a database. Please visit the Library Circulation Desk to activate or update your card. [top] |
