Summer/Fall 2011 Database Changes New databases include:
The databases can be found on the Other Electronic Resources page and under QuickLinks on the Library home page. Due to cost and/or low usage, the library no longer subscribes to First Research, Hoover’s, Rosetta Stone, U.S. History in Context, and World History in Context. Students looking for an online language learning system may want to try Mango, available to Rhode Island residents at AskRI.org. Printing and Photocopying in the Library The college has implemented a new print management system. What does this mean? For current CCRI students, faculty, and staff, you will need to log on to the library’s computers using your MyCCRI username and password. You will need your Student/Faculty/Staff ID number to retrieve your print jobs. For guests, you will need to log on to the library’s computers using the guest username and password. You will need to have purchased an Equitrac payment card to retrieve your print jobs. The printers (also known as MFDs or multifunction devices) can also be used for photocopying. Fall 2011 Course Offerings LRCT 1010 and 1015: College Research Courses are being offered during the Fall. New Books and DVDs View our lists of new books added to the McNaughton collections and new DVDs on each campus. Spring 2011 Database Changes Encyclopedia of Climate and Weather has been added to Oxford Reference Online. Milestone Documents in World History is now part of Salem History. The library now has access to Masterplots via Salem Literature. [top] |
