Adding Featured Items to Department Home Page
Content Managers can add featured items to the home page of their department website by doing the following:
- After navigating to your department's home page, click the button on the upper left hand corner of the page to expand the split screen view in order to access the content management toolbar.
- Click on the Check Out button.
- Find the Edit button above the Header to access the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor
- Once you enter the editor, open a new tab and navigate to the featured item you wish to add to your home page. For example, we will use a news story from the marketing site to add to the Performing Arts home page. Please note the (1) Header, the (2) opening paragraph and the (3) image. We will use these to construct our featured news item.
