Each department/organization/program head (a vice president, dean, department chair, or director) who owns a CCRI website must designate a Content Manager (CM). The designated CM will need to setup a training session with Web Services to learn how to use the CMS to update their site.
The training will consist of an introductory segment where we go over the basics, after which the participants will do some hands-on training with the CMS. We recommend that content managers start practicing with the new system as soon as possible after the session.
After the training session, CMs should be able to work independently, but as always we will be available to assist should they need it.
The OU Campus LMS is maintained by the OmniUpdate Training Department and offers training courses and materials related to the use and administration of OU Campus. The courses are self-paced, and include videos, quizzes, and related technical and reference material. The LMS is a resource that is available to all administrators and users for the institution. To begin using the LMS, email firstname.lastname@example.org or speak with an administrator at your institution to get the enrollment link.
