  1. To access your department share drive, go to the desktop, the Windows Orb, and right-click on "Computer". Select "Map Network Drive..." Mapping a Share Drive
  2. Specify a drive letter for your mapped drive by clicking on the down arrow and selecting a letter. In the "Folder" field type in the path to your share. Click on the "Reconnect at logon" box.Mapping a Share Drive
  3. You may be prompted to enter your domain username and password. The username format is campus\username. Click "OK".Mapping a Share Drive
  4. You should now be able to see the folders in your department share.

Windows 10

  1. Open File Explorer from the taskbar or the Start  menu, or press the Windows logo key  + E.
  2. Select This PC from the left pane. Then, on the Computer tab, select Map network drive. Windows 10 - Map Network Drive
  3. In the Drive list, select a drive letter. (Any available letter will do.)
  4. In the Folder box, type the path of the folder, \\campus.ccri.edu\dfs01\YourDepartmentShare.  
  5. Select Finish.
  6. You may be prompted to enter your domain username and password. The username format is campus\username. Click "OK".
