Using the MyCCRI Message Board
There is a Message Board within each course in MyCCRI that allows students and teacher to carry on a discussion. This is an asynchronous feature, which means that students and faculty do not have to be logged on at the same time to carry on the discussion.

Step 2If the Message Board is in use, you should see a list of Topics under Topic List. Click on a link to a topic in order to view it. |
Step 3When the topic opens, you will be able to read the text of the topic or subject in the grey area directly under the Topic. |
Step 4You will see a list of Messages that relate to this topic in the Message List. To read a message, just click on the link to the message within the list. |
Step 5Once you've read the message, click on the red link to Post a reply in order to type in your response to the message. Tip: You may also click on the green Next Reply link in order to view other replies to the original message. |
Step 6You should see the reply you've posted listed in the Message Thread. (A thread is a group of messages or replies that all discuss the same topic. Since they are all talking about the same thing, they are grouped together or "threaded" for easy access.) |
