Creating Course Announcements in MyCCRI

Announcements can be posted to inform or remind students of upcoming events. A great feature of the MyCCRI Course Announcements is that any announcement you post for your students within the course homepage will also show up under Personal Announcements on the My CCRI main page.

Note that all announcements will automatically expire within 7 days of posting.

Step 1

Log in to your MyCCRI account and click on the myCourseTools tab.

Select a term from the drop-down arrow next to Course Schedule.

Click on a link to the course you want to add the announcement to.

This will bring you to the Course Homepage. Click on Announcements under Course Tools on the left side of your screen

This will take you to the Announcement window. Click on Send Announcement

Step 5

Type in a title for your announcement in the box marked Title.

Type the text of your announcement in the main Announcement: window.

Click the Send button at the bottom of the window.

After your announcement has been sent click OK. You will return to the Announcements page where the new announcement link will be displayed.
