Microsoft Lync

Skype for Business, a Microsoft unified communication tool, lets you add up to 250 people to online meetings, gives you enterprise-grade security and is integrated into your Microsoft Office apps.

For Windows users | For Mac users

To determine if Lync is installed on your computer, follow the instructions below:

Windows 8: From the "Start" screen, search for Skype for Business 2015.

Windows 7: Click on the "Start" button and search for Skype for Business 2015.

If Lync is not installed you can click the following link to perform the install (requires login with CCRI username and password):

Setup instructions (Using Firefox browser)

  1. When you click the above button and login, an "Opening setup.exe" dialog box will appear:

  2. Click "Save file".
  3. The file will be saved to your downloads folder.  You can access it (in Firefox) by clicking on the arrow at the top of the browser, then right-click on the file and choose "Open Containing Folder":

  4. When the folder with the setup.exe file opens, right-click on setup.exe and select "Open":

  5. Follow setup instructions from there.
