All incoming students who attended an orientation session offered for the spring or fall of 2002 completed a Student Information Sheet. Data collected from these students provide us with descriptive, historical information useful in a variety of planning processes within the Community College. A total of 2,203 students completed the information sheet. The majority of these entering students (1,433 or 65 percent) are under 19 years of age. Twenty percent of the students responding are minority students.

Students were also asked if they would be employed while attending CCRI. Over ninety percent responded yes. Of this group, more than 55 percent indicated they would be working more than 20 hours per week.
