Campaign priorities
CCRI’s growth is driven by the strength of our commitment to student success, through flexible learning opportunities and lifelong learning programs, and our aspiration to build partnerships and play an instrumental role in local and regional workforce development.
To prepare students for the working world, we must offer them support services, access to education, and teaching excellence that not only helps students improve their career prospects, but also makes transfer to some of our country’s finest four-year colleges possible. We will focus on five critical areas:

Allied
Health programs ($1.5 million)- Imagine* ... advanced technology that will enable CCRI to create a model of excellence in health care. The college will enhance our distinct Allied Health programs which make us a leader in education and training in Rhode Island.

Scholarships
($1 million)- Imagine* ... an opportunity for education for every student. New scholarships will continue to make CCRI accessible.

Knight
Campus library
($500,000)- Imagine* ... a state of the art library that is vital to the growth and success of our students. CCRI will improve study spaces for students and teaching spaces for faculty. Learn more about our library.

Theater
($1.5 million)- Imagine* ... a theater with something for everyone at the Community College of Rhode Island. The college will fully implement its vision of providing top quality venues for education, performance and the arts.

Athletics
($1 million)- Imagine* ... a new school spirit at CCRI. CCRI will provide a new softball and baseball complex. Read more about our athletic programs.
