Early Diagnosis of Autism:
Recent Advances and Implications for Policy

Brown University's Center for the Study of Children at Risk at Women & Infants Hospital
Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities at Bradley Hospital

Dr. Stephen Sheinkopf

Dr. Sheinkopf's presentation will:

  • Review advances in the understanding of autism in infants and very young children
  • Highlight novel research on this topic in Rhode Island
  • Consider implications for clinical practice and public policy.

Dr. Stephen Sheinkopf is a leading research psychologist at Brown University's Center for the Study of Children at Risk at Women and Infants Hospital and the acting director of research in Bradley Hospital's Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities.
