Purpose
The Advisory Council of the Community Based Job Training Grant (CBJTG) will support the efforts of the Community College of Rhode Island in achieving the outcomes of the grant in a timely manner. To this end the members will have all the necessary information about the grant and it’s goals and objectives to make recommendation in support of the expected outcomes.
Vision
The Community Based Job Training Grant (CBJTG) will enhance Rhode Island’s vision of being a model state for providing quality healthcare for all citizens. This will be accomplished by the goals of adding faculty and student capacity, improving existing programs for education, and creating innovative programs to support nursing and allied health education at the college, and in RI.
Values
We are a steward of the department of labor resources, and we will use these funds judiciously, according to grant specifications. We uphold honesty and integrity in our operations and communication to the stakeholders.
Goals
The Advisory Council of the Community Based Job Training Grant (CBJTG), Health Care Futures will assist the Community college of Rhode Island and other stakeholders of the grant to achieve its goals by:
- Using the connections of its members to a wide range of human and capital resources to facilitate and maximize the expected outcomes.
- Accepting knowledge and information contributions from the experts on the committee to improve existing programs, generate ideas for future programs, and recommend innovations as appropriate to the grant.
