Criminal Justice and Legal Studies Scholarships

To be considered for this scholarship students must:

  • be registered for at least nine credit hours and completed 24 credit hours toward his or her degree in the Criminal Justice and Legal Studies program at CCRI
  • have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • be active in school and/or community activities
  • have some financial need, but need not be financial aid qualified. (NOTE: Financial need will be determined by the Scholarship Committee, not the College’s Financial Aid Office)

To be considered for this scholarship students must:

  • be a currently enrolled CCRI student majoring in one of the following:

A. Paralegal Studies
B. Nursing
C. Developmental Disabilities Studies certificate program

  • for A & B, the students must be currently registered for at least 9 credit hours for the semester and have already completed at least 12 credit hours toward a degree.
  • for C, the students must be currently registered for at least 6 credit hours and have already completed at least 6 credit hours toward a certificate.
  • maintained a 3.0 G.P.A. or better
  • demonstrate some financial need
  • be a citizen of the USA

Andre Antranig Martiesian Memorial Scholarship

PURPOSE: To provide financial assistance to a CCRI continuing student with at least 30 credits majoring in Business Administration, Criminal Justice and Legal Studies, or General Studies. Students must have financial need as well as maintaining a 3.0 GPA. Preference is given to a student of Armenian decent; second preference is for a student who has immigrated to the United States and has become a citizen.
