To be considered for this scholarship students must:
- be registered for at least nine credit hours and completed 24 credit hours toward his or her degree in the Criminal Justice and Legal Studies program
- have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- be active in school and/or community activities
- have some financial need, but need not be financial aid qualified. (NOTE: Financial need will be determined by the Scholarship Committee, not the College’s Financial Aid Office)

To be considered for this scholarship students must:
- be currently enrolled majoring in one of the following:
A. Paralegal Studies
B. Nursing
C. Developmental Disabilities Studies certificate program
- for A & B, the students must be currently registered for at least 9 credit hours for the semester and have already completed at least 12 credit hours toward a degree.
- for C, the students must be currently registered for at least 6 credit hours and have already completed at least 6 credit hours toward a certificate.
- maintained a 3.0 G.P.A. or better
- demonstrate some financial need
- be a citizen of the USA
