Student Nurse Organization Scholarship

Purpose:  To assist CCRI Nursing students who have completed their first year of nursing and are continuing their studies in the LPN or ADN Program. Preference is given to students with a grade of "C+" (2.5) or higher in Nursing courses during their first two semesters and a above average clinical performance as documented and determined by clinical nursing evaluation(s).

Application Deadline:  April 1

Processing Procedure:  Dean of Health & Rehabilitative Sciences, Dr. Maureen E. McGarry appoints Scholarship Committee Chair, who subsequently appoints scholarship review committee.

Scholarship Committee Chair completes Scholarship Sign-Off form and forwards it and all applications to the Office of Institutional Advancement.

Upon receipt of all materials, CCRI Foundation check is made payable to the selected recipient and Office of Institutional Advancement sends check and congratulatory letter to the selected recipient via certified mail with a copy to Scholarship Committee Chair and the Dean of Nursing, Allied & Dental Health Programs. Copies of the letter plus a copy of the application form are sent to:
