Hope Branch of the International Sunshine Society Scholarship

Purpose:  To provide financial support to second year Nursing students who demonstrate financial need. Students must have completed one year in the Nursing Program at CCRI. Preference is given to residents of Aquidneck Island.

Application Deadline:  April 1

Processing Procedure:  Dean of Nursing, Allied and Dental Health appoints Scholarship Committee Chair, who subsequently appoints scholarship review committee.  The Scholarship Chair completes Scholarship Sign-Off form and forwards it and all applications to the Office of Institutional Advancement.

Upon receipt of all materials, CCRI Foundation check is made jointly payable to the selected recipient and CCRI. Office of Institutional Advancement sends check and congratulatory letter to the selected recipient via certified mail with a copy to the Nursing Department Chair. Copies of the letter plus a copy of the application form are sent to:
