John Clarke Scholarship

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to low-income Newport residents attending the CCRI Newport County Campus

Processing Procedure: The scholarship chair appoints scholarship review committee.
The Scholarship Chair completes Scholarship Sign-Off form and forwards it and all applications to the Office of Institutional Advancement.
 
Upon receipt of all materials, CCRI Foundation check is made payable to the selected recipient (and CCRI). Office of Institutional Advancement sends check and congratulatory letter to the selected recipient via certified mail with a copy to the Scholarship Chair. Copies of the letter plus a copy of the application form are sent to:

Revenue History: The account was endowed in 2006 with grant money awarded by the Trustees of the John Clarke Trust to establish the scholarship.
