Purpose:To recognize a graduating student in his/her sophomore year who has 60 credits towards graduation. The recipient will have taken 4 courses from 3 Social Sciences disciplines with a Social Sciences G.P.A. of 3.5 and an overall G.P.A of 3.0 in all other college courses. Preference will be given to a student who exhibits qualities of good citizenship and academic excellence.

Application Deadline: April 1

Important Note: Scholarship recipient is required to write a thank you note (memo and sample thank you note) to the scholarship donor, and provide a brief biography (printable bio form) about themselves and their education/career goals and return both to: Geraldine Peixoto, CCRI Foundation, Flanagan Campus, 1762 Louisquisset Pike, Lincoln, RI 02865.
