Purpose: To recognize a second-year graduating student and/or CCRI continuing student with more than 30 credits, of meritorious standing (2.5 G.P.A. or higher), who is planning to continue his/her education at CCRI or at a four-year college/university. Eligible applicants must document involvement in college and/or community activities.

Application Deadline: April 1
Processing Procedure: The Director of Alumni Relations serves as the Scholarship Committee Chair and appoints Scholarship Review Committee.
The Director of Alumni Relations completes Scholarship Sign-Off form, attaches a copy of the student's acceptance letter from the four-year college/university or the copy of CCRI fall registration and forwards it and all applications to the Office of Institutional Advancement. The Director of Alumni Relations contacts Jean Lovett in the Office of Student Affairs for the AwardsNight Program Brochure.
Upon receipt of all materials, a CCRI Foundation check is made jointly payable to recipient and four year institution. Office of Institutional Advancement sends check and congratulatory letter to the selected recipient via certified mail with a copy to the Director of Alumni Relations. Copies of the letter plus a copy of the application form are sent to:

Revenue History:
The account was endowed in 1980. Funds for the scholarship come from Alumni
Annual Fund Campaign, which includes donations from the Direct Mail Appeal
and the Phonathon.
Important Note: Scholarship recipient is required to write a thank you note (memo and sample thank you note) to the scholarship donor, and provide a brief biography (printable bio form) about themselves and their education/career goals and return both to: Geraldine Peixoto, CCRI Foundation, Flanagan Campus, 1762 Louisquisset Pike, Lincoln, RI 02865.
