Purpose
:  To recognize Computer studies students at CCRI.  First preference will be given to a student with a disability who is matriculated in the Computer studies Degree Program.  Second preference will be given to a student with a disability who is enrolled in Computer studies Course(s).  Third preference will be given to a Computer studies student who demonstrates financial need.  The scholarship is expressly designed to support a student continuing his/her education at CCRI as opposed to a student who is graduating.  If none of the above preferences can be met, the scholarship may be awarded to any student at the College who demonstrates financial need.

Application Deadline:  October 1  

Processing Procedure:  Computer Studies Department Chair appoints scholarship review committee.

Computer Studies Department Chair completes Scholarship Sign-Off form and forwards it and all applications to the Office of Institutional Advancement.

Upon receipt of all materials, CCRI Foundation check is made jointly payable to the selected recipient and CCRI.  Office of Institutional Advancement sends check and congratulatory letter to the selected recipient via certified mail with a copy to the Computer Studies Department Chair.  Copies of the letter plus a copy of the application form are sent to:

Revenue History:  Account was established in 1989 by the family of Dianne Squizzero.  Goal is to eventually offer a scholarship equivalent to F-T tuition reimbursement.Important
