Purpose: To provide financial support to students of meritious standing who are entering CCRI and/or have completed one year at CCRI. Students are eligible in any Career & Technical area of study (Allied Health, Business Administration, Computer Studies, Engineering & Technology, General Programs, Industrial Technology, Nursing or Administrative OfficeTechnology). Students should possess leadership skills and be involved in student run organizations such as SkillsUSA either at the high school or college level.

Processing Procedure: The scholarship chair appoints scholarship review committee.
The Scholarship Chair completes Scholarship Sign-Off form and forwards it and all applications to the Office of Institutional Advancement.
Upon receipt of all materials, CCRI Foundation check is made payable to the selected recipient and CCRI. Office of Institutional Advancement sends check and congratulatory letter to the selected recipient via certified mail with a copy to the Scholarship Chair. Copies of the letter plus a copy of the application form are sent to:

Revenue History: Robert Carosi, CSD, State Director of SkillsUSA Rhode Island established this scholarship in honor of his parents Alice & Albert Carosi. This award is available for students who show leadership in student run organizations, such as SkillsUSA and are pursuing education in post secondary programs at CCRI in the fields of trade, industrial and health occupations.
Important Note: Scholarship recipient is required to write a thank you note (memo and sample thank you note) to the scholarship donor, and provide a brief biography (printable bio form) about themselves and their education/career goals and return both to: Geraldine Peixoto, CCRI Foundation, Flanagan Campus, 1762 Louisquisset Pike, Lincoln, RI 02865.
