Purpose: To provide assistance to Community College of Rhode Island students with financial need.
Application Deadline: September 1
Processing Procedure: The Foundation Executive Director or his/her designee appoints a scholarship review committee. The Foundation Executive Director or his/her designee completes Scholarship Sign-Off form and forwards it and all applications to the Office of Institutional Advancement.
Upon receipt of all materials, CCRI Foundation check is made payable to the selected recipient. Office of Institutional Advancement sends check and congratulatory letter to the selected recipient via certified mail with a copy to the Rhode Island Foundation. Copies of the letter plus copies of the application form are sent to:

Important Note: Scholarship recipient is required to write a thank you note (memo and sample thank you note) to the scholarship donor, and provide a brief biography (printable bio form) about themselves and their education/career goals and return both to: Geraldine Peixoto, CCRI Foundation, Flanagan Campus, 1762 Louisquisset Pike, Lincoln, RI 02865.
