Student Sample Thank You Note

TO: Scholarship Recipients
SUBJECT: THANK YOU NOTES TO SCHOLARSHIP DONORS (sample at bottom of page)

Scholarship donors are very valuable people. They provide the money which allows the CCRI Foundation to award scholarships every year to students like you. In return, they appreciate hearing from the scholarship recipients to know that you appreciate their support and that their money is well invested.

It is very easy to say thank you to a donor, and the CCRI Foundation will assist you in getting this important task done. Below are some remarks that might help you think about what you want to say. However, you may prefer to write your own note and simply tell the donor how you feel and what the scholarship means to you. That’s fine, too. Your note needn’t be long, but it should be sincere. Please try to write clearly and simply.

When you have written your note of thanks, return it to:

Geraldine Peixoto
Institutional Advancement and College Relations Office
Flanagan Campus
1762 Louisquisset Pike
Lincoln, RI 02865.

We will address the envelope and mail out the cards.

That’s all there is for you to do, and we can then process your scholarship award. Congratulations on your achievement, and good luck in your education.
