Faculty Web Site Publishing Guidelines

The Faculty Web Site Directory is for links to CCRI faculty web sites which contain information relating to their contact info, office hours, office location, course info, syllabi, etc.  Direct links to personal or commercial web sites may not be listed here.

Faculty members who would like a link to their CCRI Faculty web site included in The Faculty Web Site Directory should e-mail webservices@ccri.edu with their CCRI faculty web site address, i.e.: http://facultywp.ccri.edu/jdoe or http://www.jdoe.com/CCRI/. Sites will be reviewed to ensure content complies with college policies before being added.

Faculty who would like to build their CCRI faculty web pages on the CCRI faulty web server should fill out the Faculty Web Publishing Form. If you are not a full-time CCRI faculty member or staff, you may need to apply for a Campus Domain Account before filling-out the Faculty Web Publishing Form. NOTE: If you can login to a campus network computer using your own username and password, then you already do have a domain account. [more about domain accounts]

The New WordPress Faculty Web

Any newly created faculty Web sites will be powered by a WordPress back-end. We are adopting the use of this web-based editing and publishing tool as an alternative to our current faculty Web publishing method which relies on FrontPage Server Extensions -a legacy technology which will is longer supported by Microsoft and is being phased-out at CCRI.

For faculty with existing Web sites

If you currently have a site on the faculty.ccri.edu domain, we encourage you to migrate your site to the new WordPress faculty Web.  Please e-mail webservices@ccri.edu and let us know you'd like to do so.

For faculty who do not yet have a Web site

If you do not currently have a faculty Web site and would like to initiate one, please fill-out and submit this form and a basic site will be prepared for you. [Learn more]
