About the Electronics Technology Program
The Electronics program prepares students to become electronic technicians who work in the design, development and testing of electronic systems. The technical skills needed by scientists and engineers form the basic foundation for this program. Electronic technologists are uniquely qualified as valuable assets to an electronics company because they have not only a strong technical background, but considerable hands-on laboratory experience as well. Graduates of this program have practical experience in problem solving, circuit analysis, circuit design concepts, and communications techniques. These skills prepare them for employment in electronics industries in areas of research and development, design, manufacturing, testing, quality assurance, customer service and sales support.
