About the Introduction to Design Drafting Certificate

This program prepares a student with the basic understanding and skills for a design drafting environment. Completion of this certificate will prepare a student for entry level positions as design draftsmen and mechanical designers.

The program can be completed in one semester and with little or no credit loss, applicable to existing advanced certificates and associate degrees. Since these programs require above average semester credit-loads, it should only be considered by a motivated, mature student. In some cases courses must be covered in one half-semester (sub-semester) to allow for a two course sequence to be completed.
