Campus Basics
Chair
Chair Alicia Lyon’s office is Room 3216 on the Knight (Warwick) Campus. If you need to speak with the chair about the syllabus, grading, a student problem or any other issue, call Gail Yanku at 825-2262 to arrange a telephone call or visit.
Secretarial Support
Gail Yanku is the Chair’s administrative assistant, available to help faculty at 825-2262.
Night Supervisor
Dennis Mullen is the contact and problem solving person for teachers of the 4:00 and 7:00 classes. He will be at the Enrollment Services desk when you sign in (in the lobby inside the front entrance to the right of the entrance road). The number at the Enrollment Services desk is x 2125.
Weekend College Supervisor
There is none. If you are teaching in the weekend college, you are pretty much left to your own devices other than being able to contact Security for the situations noted below in "Security." Sign in at the Administration desk on the first floor.
Your Peers
Communication with your peers through an online message board has just become possible. The English Department Adjuncts Group on MyCCRI offers the chance for you to view announcements and get useful links as well as ask questions, register concerns, and exchange views with their colleagues on the message board. If you would like to use the board, log into MyCCRI, hit Groups, then List Groups, then Adjunct English, and then Ask to Sign Up. Security
Our security staff has the same authority as municipal police. They are here 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Call Security if you are locked out of a classroom or have a troublesome student who won’t leave the class. The Security office houses Lost and Found. The Security office is located on the ground floor: go left off the elevators through the double doors and turn right. The office is halfway down the corridor next to the receiving doors. x 2109.
