This course will introduce to you the various subjects you could pursue as an outdoor photographer. We will cover nature, weather, astrophotography and outdoor events. You will be shown visual examples while taught how each image was created. This course is designed to inspire you and ignite within you an interest in pursuing and creating your own “niche.”

Introduction to Basic Night-Sky Photography
Your in-class instruction will give you a foundation using visuals and prepare you for the hands-on field trips. Astrophotography is a unique and specialized form of photography that requires long exposures during extreme low-light conditions. This course will teach you the techniques involved for creating good images, using your equipment properly and learning the night sky.

Ronald Zincone of ronaldzinconephotography has been "chasing the light" for 11 years! Located in Richmond, Rhode Island, his business entity was established in 2005 and he has been teaching since 2006. Zincone has a passion for outdoor photography and he specializes in photographic instruction and creating online art on his website. He is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography.
