Registration Information
The course is offered at the Lincoln and Warwick campuses of CCRI. Classes are offered weekends and week days/nights from April through October (weather permitting). Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis and class size is limited. Avoid disappointment and register early!
Please Note: Due to the high demand during the peak summer season, it may be several weeks between the time you register and when your class starts. Please be sure to note the dates, times and location of your class. CCRI will not confirm your registration. You will be notified only if your class is cancelled or full. You must attend all hours and pass all requirements in order to receive a certificate of completion.
Failure to appear for an assigned class or range may result in a delay in rescheduling and additional fees.
Age Requirement
If you are under the age of 18, you must also have written permission from a parent or guardian and possess an operator’s license (full or provisional).
Cost & Payment
$99 (RI residents) or $199 (Out-of-State residents)*
*fees effective for all classes beginning on or after July 1, 2008.
A Returned Check Fee of $25 is assessed for any check returned to the College by the bank. This fee is non-refundable. Payment must be made in full before being allowed to register for a class. No personal checks will be accepted on an account where a Returned Check Fee has been assessed.
Rescheduling Fees (without medical documentation)
Range Reschedule - $40
Failure to appear - must re-pay course fees and re-register in the next available
class.
Please note: all fees must be paid prior to rescheduling.
Refund Policy
There are no refunds for the Motorcycle program without a documented medical excuse. You may request a refund if the course you selected is full or cancelled. Refunds on credit card payments will be made by check to the registered student. No partial refunds are made under any circumstances.
Special Accommodations
Individuals who need interpreter services for the hearing impaired or other special services are requested to make these needs and preferences known a minimum of 45 days prior to the start of class.
Registration Methods
Telephone registrations cannot be accepted for the RI Rider Education Preparation Program. Please select from the registration options below (Walk-In, Fax, or Mail). Also, please note that online registration is unavailable at this time.

You may register for any courses in person at the Lincoln, Warwick, Providence, or Newport Center for Workforce & Community Education Office. Payment must be made at the time of registration.

Registration by Fax
Applicants wishing to pay by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or Discover Card) may fax a RI Rider Education Program Registration Form - PDF* to the Center for Workforce & Community Education Office at 401.825.1116. Students registering by fax will not receive a receipt. You will be notified by CCRI only if the class you selected is full or cancelled.
It is necessary for you to provide all information, including payment information. Incomplete and/or unreadable forms cannot be processed and will be returned.
