Solar Voltaic Technology
Training Program

CCRI is collaborating with the Rhode Island State Energy Office to offer a new 40-hour training program in the field of solar power. CCRI is the first RI host site for this type of training.

Solar panel technology can work two ways: (1) it can generate energy to be used immediately and (2) it can generate energy that can be stored for later use. This training program teaches electricians how to deal with both scenarios, and offers hands-on installation training in both roof-mounted and ground-mounted systems for residential use.

Funded through a grant from the Renewable Energy Fund.
