Food Manager

Food Manager’s Certification Program

Enhance your status in the field of food service by receiving your certificate in food sanitation. This state-approved program includes the following: highlights of the RI Food Code; food safety practices; food handling policies and procedures; food premises and equipment, and subjects such as waste management, accident prevention, pest management, and food safety systems. Fee includes book and testing. (Dept. of Health application fee not included.)

Food Manager’s Recertification Program

The Food Manager’s Certification must be renewed every three years. This 6-hour course will satisfy the RI Department of Health requirements by providing you with a review of important food sanitation procedures. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion.
