ASD: Making the Connections

Professional Development in Autism Spectrum Disorders

In partnership with The Autism Project, this yearlong course (divided into two semesters) is for individuals who are interested in developing specialized knowledge and skills to work with children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The course features evidence-based practices in six key areas: structured teaching, communication systems, sensory processing, positive behavior supports, cognitive strategies and relationship-based approaches. Students will receive practical tools that they can immediately apply in their work. The course is targeted for individuals working in schools, early childhood, home-based services and specialty fields. Students who complete both semesters of the course will receive a certificate of completion for this specialized study.

$295 + $5 non-refundable registration fee
