ESL - English as a Second Language

Basic English classes for people whose primary language is not English.

GED® Testing Sites

CCRI hosts two state approved testing sites where individuals can take the GED® (General Education Development) exam in order to achieve a high school equivalency diploma.

Transition / Bridge to College Program

The Center for Workforce and Community Education (CWCE) partners with five adult education programs providing transition or bridge to college and career programs for nontraditional adult students returning to academic life.

Workplace Literacy Programs

Funded by RI Department of Education, these programs provide worksite literacy services to adults in Rhode Island. These services are designed to upgrade the skills of those who are employed in order to help Rhode Island achieve a high-performance workforce.
