The 2014 GED® Test
CCRI offers Official GED® Testing Centers at the Flanagan Campus in Lincoln and Liston Campus in Providence. The new 2014 GED® Test is designed to guide adult learners on the pathway to gain skills and knowledge to be successful in their academic and career futures.
The new 2014 GED® Test is the only nationally recognized high school equivalency test aligned to the Career and College State Standards. The new test will be delivered on computer, which allows same-day scoring with a score report for reporting and remediation. The Official 2014 GED® test must be taken at the Providence or Lincoln campuses on an authorized computer.
The 2014 GED® test consists of four content areas: Reasoning through Language Arts (150 minutes), Mathematical Reasoning (90 minutes), Science (90 minutes) and Social Studies (90 minutes). The price of each test is $30 each or $120 for all four tests.
Students are encouraged to go online to The GED® Testing Service. Visit the GED® testing service website and click "For Students" and set up a My GED® Account.
