"Welcome back students! The CCRI Student Government is excited to have
you back for the fall semester and welcomes all continuing and newly
enrolled students to this fantastic institution. Everyone here, including
all the faculty, staff, administration and especially you (the students),
are among the best in the region. This year we have numerous projects and
adventures to pursue. We hope you will step forward to pursue them with us!"
"The Student Government is always looking for new and dedicated members to help us enrich the CCRI culture. As part of the best community college in New England, you can help us raise the bar and continue our success! Your education is in good hands here at CCRI, and there is more here than meets the eye. We have many clubs and organizations that strive to better our community through their works and charities."
"Leadership among the students at CCRI has always been plentiful, and we know you have a leader in you. Getting involved will help you to build a solid foundation for future ambitions, as well as offer you intellectually challenging opportunities. Above all, you will have a lot of fun networking, making friends, developing or sculpting leadership skills, and preparing yourself for your future."
"All the instructors, counselors, deans, administration, other students – especially Student Government – and numerous others at CCRI, are dedicated to inspiring you to reach your goals. They will also help you to acquire the skills needed to achieve them. If you let it, CCRI will help you change the course of your life. I am confident in that because that’s exactly what it has done for me. Don’t wait to get involved – get to know your school, classmates, professors, and administrators. They all have the same common goal – to provide you with the education, experience, and opportunity to achieve success. We are a team here at CCRI and we want you to jump in and help us win the game!"
"I'm sure those who are returning to CCRI know what I’m talking about, and I'm eager for the new students to join in that experience. I wish the best of luck to everyone in this semester and hope to see you soon. If you have an interest in Student Government or any of the clubs, feel free to drop in to the Student Government office and pick up a Student Guide, or to ask any questions you may have. You can also contact me via e-mail at: nrkamboures@ccri.edu. Talk to you soon!"
