About Office of Opportunity & Outreach

Welcome to the Office of Opportunity and Outreach at the Community College of Rhode Island! The Office of Opportunity and Outreach administers a variety of federally (TRIO) and state-funded programs that support entry into postsecondary education and the completion of a postsecondary credential for Rhode Islanders who face social, economic, racial/ethnic, cultural and linguistic barriers.

In addition to administering programs that provide comprehensive services to students and R.I. citizens, the Office of Opportunity and Outreach works in the community to foster educational opportunity and address the systemic barriers to the completion of a postsecondary education.
