The Community College of Rhode Island has partnerships with two preschool centers which are located at our campuses. Imagine Preschool is located at the CCRI Knight Campus in Warwick and Ready to Learn Providence is located at the CCRI Liston Campus in Providence. Both preschools were selected as two of seven sites by the Rhode Island Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to participate in the Pre-Kindergarten Demonstration Project which is now underway. Each preschool's demonstration classroom adheres to 10 national benchmarks that help to ensure quality of teacher credentials, class size, staff to child ratios and health screenings. The National Institute for Early Education Research will measure the gains students have made in language, literacy, early mathematics and social and emotional development. The results of their findings will be reported publicly.
