President's Message

With more than 80 associate degree and certificate programs and enrollment of more than 15,000 at our four campuses, the Community College of Rhode Island is New England’s largest community college.

Many of our highly skilled graduates enter careers in hospitals, schools, businesses, banks, and manufacturing and technology companies. But for many students, CCRI is just the beginning of their academic careers. The quality of our offerings is equal to the first two years of study at four-year colleges, but with the benefit of smaller class sizes and low tuition costs. We have formal agreements with many public and private colleges that allow for a seamless transition to a four-year institution; some even offer attractive scholarships to our graduates.

Even if you’ve been out of the classroom for years, you don’t have to worry about fitting in at CCRI. We have a diverse student population, a variety of support services to help you achieve your goals and caring faculty members who work together to create a learning community that puts your needs first. And, with convenient, full-service campuses in Warwick, Lincoln, Providence and Newport, you will find it easy to plan your education around work and family obligations.
