Physical and cultural elements of geography are considered as they relate to each other in the economic, political, cultural and historical aspects of human civilization. Map study is a major focus of this course as we examine all major regions of the world. Lecture: 3 hours
GEOG 1020 - Introduction to Economic Geography - 3 Credits
Economic geography focuses on understanding the location of production, distribution and consumption activities, both locally and internationally . Economic and geographic models are applied to both theoretical and real-world situations. Students research topics of interest to them related to these areas. GEOG 1010 or ECON 2020 recommended prior to this course (Prerequisite: ENGL 0850 or appropriate placement test score or permission of instructor) Lecture: 3 hours
