Law Enforcement

Community College of Rhode Island offers a degree program for individuals interested in a career in law enforcement and for those currently working in the field. The program is designed to give students a background in academic courses as well as specialized training.

Students who successfully complete this program will receive an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree.

Paralegal Studies

Community College of Rhode Island offers a degree program for individuals interested in a career as a legal assistant. Graduates of the program will have the option of entering the work force as a trained paralegal or continuing their education by transferring to a college offering a baccalaureate degree program in paralegal studies.

Students who successfully complete this program will receive an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree.

Bilingual Judicial Interpreter

Community College of Rhode Island offers a certificate program for individuals interested in a career as a bilingual judicial interpreter and for those currently working in the field. The program is designed to give students specialized training in preparation for the certification examination to be given by the Rhode Island state court system.

Students who successfully complete the program will receive an academic certificate.
