Community College of Rhode Island offers a degree program for individuals interested in a career in law enforcement and for those currently working in the field. The program is designed to give students a background in academic courses as well as specialized training.

Paralegal Studies (PALG)

Associate in Science (A.S.) Degree

Community College of Rhode Island offers a degree program for individuals interested in a career as a legal assistant. Graduates of the program have the option of entering the work force as a trained paralegal or continuing their education by transferring to a college offering a Bachelor’s Degree Program in paralegal studies.

Community College of Rhode Island offers a certificate program for individuals interested in a career as a bilingual judicial interpreter and for those currently working in the field. The program is designed to give students specialized training in preparation for the certification examination given by the Rhode Island state court system.
